Some winemakers split their time between the vineyard and the winery. Others take it a step further and apply the same attention to the forests and cooperages that their barrels come from as they do the vineyards and winery.
With Tonnellerie O’s Master Cooper Program, winemaker’s are able to join Master Cooper Quinn Roberts in France to visit the forests from which the fine grain oak is selected for their barrels. Winemakers will be able to set aside specific lots of wood in the seasoning yard for up to four years of air drying. Combined with visits to wine regions throughout France, the Master Cooper Program is the ultimate forest to barrel experience.
