During this special Kapalua Wine & Food Festival event, enjoy a relaxed afternoon with Melville Winery’s head winegrower, Chad Melville. Learn about the Melville family and the climate, soil, and grape varietals that make up part of the extraordinary evolution each bottle undertakes from vine to glass. You’ll have the opportunity to sample four wines selected by Melville and paired with pupu (appetizers) crafted by the Banyan Tree’s Chef de Cuisine Jordan Moore. 

Seating is limited and reservations are required. Ages 21+. Valet parking is complimentary.

We kick-off our seminars with a very special “Tasting for the Ages!” Join us in honoring the amazing Lifetime of Achievements of renowned international winemaker Pierre Seillan. Pierre has now made thirty different 100 point wines! We will showcase his wines from Vérité and Anakota in Sonoma, Château Lassègue in France and Tenuta di Arcanum in Tuscany, Italy. It is our honor to present one of the wine world’s most lauded and respected heroes, and taste some of the finest wines made. Moderated by Master Sommeliers Chris Ramelb and Michael Jordan with special guest, Pierre’s daughter and famed winemaker Hélène Seillan. *The 2018 Vérité La Muse received Perfect 100 Point Score by Robert Parker, Jr.
