A rare and intimate “cellar pass” with Master Sommelier Rob Bigelow and renowned wineries and winemakers sharing their exclusive vintages: Rombauer Vineyards, Castello Banfi, Ram’s Gate Winery, Jonata & The Hilt Wines and Ste. Michelle Wine Estates. In addition, this event will feature a Veuve Clicquot Champagne pour, new to the Hawaii market and exclusively decanted at Montage Kapalua Bay. The Maui Tastemakers Series at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa’s award-winning signature restaurant, Japengo, returns in partnership with Napa-based Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars on Saturday, June 9. Winemaker Marcus D’Notaro will join guests for an intimate reception at Japengo followed by a three-course dinner by Japengo’s Chef Gevin Utrillo and Sushi Chef Jin Hosono that complements a selection of California wine pairings. The reception begins at 5 p.m. followed by the seated dinner at 5:30 p.m.
